The 2019 Masters Trip
The 2019 Masters Trip
Once again our 5th annual trip to Augusta brought some happy golfers a once in a lifetime experience. This “bucket list” trip to the finest & most beautiful golf course in the world…… Not many would argue, created some unforgettable memories one would normally only dream of.
We watched the world’s best, Tiger, Rory, DJ, Thomas, Fleetwood, Mollinari & many more in preparation for hopefully winning that magical green jacket.
Golfers, patrons & staff alike are all there in high spirits creating a good all round atmosphere & positive vibe. Our practice day ticket included in the package offers a great opportunity to see the course with the freedom to take photos. (Tournament day tickets also available on request).
Whilst the headline event of the week is to walk the fairways of Augusta, a close second was playing Harbour Town Links in its finest condition. You may know that it is host to PGA Tour event, The RBC Heritage which is played a week after The Masters. As a result the spectator stands were up, amazing greens & course in tour spec condition. All the guys had an amazing day at Harbour Town making their own experiences before they watch how the PGA Tour players tackle those very same holes on TV the week after the Masters.
We stayed at The Sea Pines Resort which is located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Harbour Town is located here & we managed to get a green side villa next to the 1st green. It was pretty handy just walking straight down the 1st on our way to play, practice or grab a breakfast in the spectacular clubhouse. The resort is also home to a couple of other great courses, Atlantic Dunes & Heron Point. These two courses share the same clubhouse with one another, have amazing facilities & are only 5 mins drive from the villa. We made full use of our time & had a good brekky & practice before our games each day.
Oh and it was sunny every day too! So there’s not much of an excuse for not playing your best really. Especially while we didn’t have any late nights……. Well not too many!
While it’s such a nice resort we also scheduled time to relax. Popular choices being a walk to the top of the lighthouse, sea fishing, boat trip across to the private island at Haig Point to play golf or just relax & enjoy the idyllic surroundings.
We’ve run the same schedule for 5 years & a great time was had by all once again. So needless to say, we’ll be sticking with the winning formula for 2020. Bookings are being taken now.
Hope you’ll join us!
